What Is SOL-Tranquility?

SOL means sun—the lifeblood and energy force of our planet. The sun directly influences the seasons, weather, and the growth cycle of every living thing. Every cell depends on it. Without the sun, life as we know it would not exist.

Using SOL in the name of my practice is intentional. It serves as both a metaphor for life and a play on the word soul. Just as the sun gives life to the Earth, our soul gives life to us.

Our soul is an integral part of who we are as human beings. It is our center—what grounds us, guides us, and acts as our internal compass. When our soul is aligned with how we live—our values, beliefs, decisions, behaviors, and sense of purpose—we feel balanced and at peace.

When that alignment is off—when our soul is not in symmetry with how we are living—we can feel stuck or stagnant. This misalignment may show up as anxiety, depression, emotional distress, or a constant sense of unrest. Even positive or healthy changes can disrupt our stability and create discomfort. Naturally, we strive to return to balance, seeking homeostasis, because we long for our soul to experience tranquility and peace.

I practice from a holistic approach, grounded in the belief that the mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected. Our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health all play an equal role in our ability to function, grow, and experience tranquility. When one area is distressed or out of balance, the entire system is affected—often leading us to overcompensate, feel stuck, or lose our sense of stability.
